Designer Deep Dive

Two threads in this patch. First: room to grow — chapters 101–120 and tower floors 201–220. Second: fairness in combat — Dodge finally covers magic and AoE, Raid Scoring rewards hard-fought losses. Tap any link above to skip to a section.


Beyond Chapter 100: The Endgame Extends

20 New Chapters: 101 through 120

  • Chapters 101–120 now playable in Adventure Mode for players who cleared 100.
  • Tuned for late-game roster: full-strength sets, mature Expertise progression.
  • The aim is more mountain, not a victory lap.

20 New Tower Floors: 201 through 220

  • Tower floors 201–220 live for players who cleared 200.
  • New benchmark for the Tower leaderboards.

Phase 1 of the endgame extension. New content gated behind clearing 100/200.


Global Chat Lobby

  • Global Chat Lobby added as a new chat tab. Anyone in your region can read and post.
  • Real-time translation on by default (from v1.26 guild-chat work).
  • Guild chat unchanged. Lobby is additive.

Raid Scoring: Losses Pay Now

  • All Raid Scoring rebuilt. Win bonus still the headline, but losses now grant points too, scaled to fight difficulty.
  • A guild taking harder content and falling short will usually outscore a guild that only picks safe fights.

Relic Filtering by Set

  • Filter Relics by Set. Set selector now in the Relic inventory filter dropdown.
  • Stacks with existing rarity and slot filters.

Dodge Expansion: Magic & AoE Now Answer

Dodge vs Magic attacks

  • Magic attacks can now be dodged at half your Dodge chance. A hero with 40% Dodge rolls 20% to dodge Fire Bolt, Ice Spike, or Bolt.
  • True damage stays unevadable. Stunned or frozen hero still cannot dodge.

Dodge vs AoE attacks

  • Successful Dodge roll on AoE now leaks half damage instead of the full hit.
  • On-hit effects from AoE attacks still trigger on a half-leaked dodge.

Why these numbers

  • Half on Magic keeps Magic Resistance the primary answer to spell damage.
  • Half on AoE removes the "Dodge is useless against this boss" pattern.

Enemy Tuning: Toxic Aura

  • Enemy Toxic Aura now applies poison at most once per round per unique attacker.
  • Multiple attackers still each get their own roll. Cap is per-attacker, not per-fight.

Chapter 100 Completion Fixes

  • Multiple Chapter 100 completion bugs fixed. End-of-chapter transition issues resolved across the board.
  • Deliberate prerequisite for the Chapter 101–120 release.

Combat Display Fixes

  • Poison damage now displays the correct value when Shiba is hit.
  • Gold on the Results screen now matches actual run earnings.
  • Stats screen, Expertise displays correctly.
  • Equipment red badge no longer shows when nothing is new.

Localization & UI Fixes

  • Overlapping and misaligned text fixed across multiple non-English languages.
  • Twilight Trader now reachable in every supported language. Fixed.
  • Keyboard no longer covers chat text when typing in Chat.

Performance & Stability

  • Older devices, combat hitching smoothed out.
  • Mini-Game visual performance improved.
  • Guild roster freeze fixed.
  • Raid party VFX now plays correctly.

On the Horizon

A breadcrumb, not a roadmap. A real strategic shift for how players approach the game's hardest content. Not a tuning pass, not a new set; a structural change to the toolkit you bring into a fight you couldn't quite close. Not ready to name it yet. Soon. Watch this space.

  • Telemetry on real player choices. We watch what builds you actually pick.
  • Days, not months. Chapter 100 bug cluster fixed inside a single patch cycle.
  • Thank you. Changes trace back to builds you came up with. The loop only works because you're in it.
