Shiba Story Go! Terms of Service

Welcome to Shiba Story Go! (the “Game”), operated by Proof of Play (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or playing the Game on any device, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, please do not use the Game.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to download or use this Game. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU users and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents.

By using the Game, you consent to the collection and use of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including:

Device identifiers

Gameplay activity

Location (if permitted)

Advertising and analytics data

3. In-App Purchases and Virtual Items
The Game may include virtual currency, in-game items, or subscription services available for real money (“Virtual Items”).

You Acknowledge That:
Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value.

All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law (e.g., EU 14-day cooling-off period unless you consent to immediate delivery).

Apple or Google handles billing directly. All payment disputes must be directed to the respective platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

4. License and Restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

You may not:

Reverse engineer or decompile the Game

Use cheats, exploits, or unauthorized automation software

Sell or transfer your account or Virtual Items

Violate any applicable laws while using the Game

5. User Content
If the Game allows you to post or share content (e.g., usernames, chat, avatars), you retain ownership of your content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Game.

You agree not to upload content that is:

Illegal, obscene, defamatory, or discriminatory

Infringing on any intellectual property rights

Misleading or fraudulent

You [the User] represent and warrant that you own all right, title and interest in and to such User Content, including all copyrights and rights of publicity contained therein. You hereby grant Proof of Play and its affiliated companies, successors, and assigns a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, sublicensable (directly and indirectly through multiple tiers), perpetual, and irrevocable license to copy, display, upload, perform, distribute, store, modify, and otherwise use your User Content in connection with the operation of the Service and the promotion, advertising or marketing of the foregoing in any form, medium or technology now known or later developed. You assume all risk associated with your User Content and the transmission of your User Content, and you have sole responsibility for the accuracy, quality, legality and appropriateness of your User Content.

6. Service Availability and Updates
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Game at any time without notice. We may also push updates to fix bugs, add features, or maintain platform compatibility (as required by Apple and Google policies).

7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Game at any time for violation of these Terms or at our discretion. If you delete the Game or your account, your data may be deleted or retained per our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Game is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that the Game will be free of errors or continuously available.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so these may not apply to you in full.

9. Dispute Resolution
For U.S. Residents:
You agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration and waive your right to a jury trial or class action, unless prohibited by law.

For EU/UK Residents:
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of your country of residence, and you may bring claims in your local courts.

10. Governing Law
